LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I recognize that my work has benefited - and continues to benefit - from the colonialism and genocide of Indigenous peoples on Turtle Island, and that it is carried out on the unceded traditional territory of Tiohtià:ke, now also colonially referred to as Montreal. The Kanien'kehá:ka Nation is the custodian of the lands and waters where many First Nations used to meet. Today Tiohtià:ke is home to a variety of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Nations.
