Ash Paré

Ash Paré educator

Ash Paré (they/she) is a social worker and a queer, trans and non-binary person. Their areas of interest are ethics, intervention and research in health and social services, and linguistic and intersectional issues affecting trans, non-binary and gender-diverse people.

They hold a Bachelor of Social Work from Université de Montréal and are currently enrolled in the Master of Social Work at McGill University. 

Within the context of individual counselling, Ash focuses on anti-oppressive, trans-affirmative, and trauma-sensitive approaches. They treat each individual with compassion and deep empathy to support them in developing tools to improve resilience to difficult events, self-compassion, coping with anxiety and traumatic reactions so that they can regain control over their life situation.
